Pipeline Industries Guild

The presentation is for those who are not corrosion specialists. No prior knowledge is required.   It is a description of external corrosion on buried pipelines and the effects of stray currents (AC and DC) on the corrosion rate.  It will start with a description of the corrosion process, followed by an explanation of cathodic protection and the impacts of stray currents.

Attendees will be asked to send any questions before the presentation so that they can be included in the presentation. There will be plenty of time at the end of the presentation for questions.
