The Scottish Branch

The Scottish Branch meets once a quarter and holds meetings across the central belt of Scotland. The Aberdeen section is based in Aberdeen and is centred around the oil industry. Our Young Persons Network is becoming increasingly active and offers a variety of benefits to young pipeliners including some excellent site visits and the opportunity to present papers for our annual Carron Trophy. The Branch holds a golf day in September and its annual dinner is held in either Edinburgh or Glasgow in October and has recently been prededed by a Prestige Lecture. The Aberdeen section also holds a dinner usually in the Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen. All of these events provide excellent networking opportunities for attendees in excellent venues and have in the past raised significant sums for a variety of charities. We are always on the look out for new members of our committees and would welcome any enquiries from interested members.
